Feeling God's Love in a Song

Today has been a LONG day! Wyatt was suppose to get his haircut but the hairdresser cancelled, he is going Thursday instead. I am hoping she can tame the best that is his curls! I am wanting his hair to grow out but Waylon is wanting it cut off. (I always win :) )

Yesterday as I was driving to Middlesboro the Lord convicted my heart through song. Already There I have heard this songs HUNDREDS of times because I am trying to learn it to sing at church. But yesterday the words "already there" just hit me. And the thought of waking up in heaven and seeing him waiting for me just overtook my and tears starting falling. I couldn't help it, it feeling was so powerful. I knew that God was with me and Wyatt. It was overwhelming. And then the next song (At Your Feet )did the same thing. Every word was touching my heart in a way it never had before and all I could do was being thankful and cry. Thank goodness Wyatt couldn't see my tears, he would of asked what was wrong and I do not know if I would be able to explain to him in words that he would understand.  

How can I explain the love of God to a toddler? I have sang songs and stories and talked about how he loves us not matter what but I know he doesn't understand. I pray that my son will one day know the feeling of God's love and what it means.

Getting Started

I have always considered myself up to date on technology. I am the person my friends and family turn to for help when it comes to technology and electronic. But I have just recently decided to join the blog world that has been around for a LONG time. So I am behind.

I am creating this blog to help document my daily life for myself and my children,and hopefully to help myself process my life in the long run!


This blog is for me and not for anything else. I hope in the future my children will be able to understand their mother a little better and know what life was like for me as a christian, mother, wife, daughter, sister, and teacher.
